NEW MINING CAPABILITIES

Earlier this year, Geofabrics Australasia launched our Australian Mining Hub; a team of experts providing solutions to the Australian mining sector.

Today, Geofabrics is pleased to announce the addition of two new product solutions to our mining portfolio which increases safety and decreases the risk associated with mining infrastructure.

Geofabrics has recently secured the distribution rights to Tensar Underground Mining Grid; polymeric grids ideal for pillar wrapping, roof and rib control installations. A geosynthetic solution developed to enhance the safety of underground mining infrastructure and the people who operate them.

Additionally, Geofabrics has secured the rights to a European made product solution, BMI Siplast Teranap Bituminous Geomembrane (BGM). BGM provides environmental protection across a range of mining applications including tailing dams, heap leach operations and water storages.

At Geofabrics, we take great pride in providing solutions to some of our most immediate environmental problems. These include reducing waste to landfill through finding applications for recycled plastics, developing containment solutions for PFAS contamination and providing sustainable solutions for the rehabilitation of mine sites.

Many of our products are made right here in our Australian manufacturing facilities, supported by Australian innovation through our GRID and our expert team of sales engineers.”
