Topic:

Principles and applications of Geotube Dewatering technology

Course overview:

Geotube Dewatering technology offers a wide range of applications for economic management of sludges. To achieve optimum dewatering performance, it is critical for engineers and operators to gain a solid understanding of the components for this technology. This webinar will provide an overview on the fundamentals of Geotube Dewatering systems with focus on understanding its applications and the design requirements for effective treatment.

Speaker:

Peter Finlay is the Business Development Manager for Geofabrics New Zealand and has over 30 years’ experience in the geosynthetic market. He began his career in horticulture, earning a Bachelor of Horticulture Science degree, before transitioning into civil engineering in the late 1980s. Peter was extensively involved in the development of composite drainage market, as well as the introduction of nonwoven needle punched geotextiles into New Zealand. His horticulture experience has led him to work on projects for erosion, sediment applications and environmental engineering. Peter’s expertise includes the containment and remediation of contaminated materials, with a focus on the development of technologies to provide solutions to environmental problems.
